Toby Marks aka Banco de Gaia is a brilliant ambient/dance composer and producer. His music has much less lyrics than rhythm and sound, which in this case is a meditation on humanity’s global predicament, of greed, commercialism and self-servitude destroying itself. In Central Asia “Ferengistan” refers to the home of fat greedy Westerners. Thusly the album title means, basically, down with “The Man.” –Pete
