East Of The Sun, and West Of The Moon

2016-11-28

Very unique to say the least. They actually recorded this album on a 2- track tape and took it to vinyl right out of the gate, so the recording is a little unique. Lots of strings and blunt lyrics. The first track is geared towards religion, but then other tracks go in completely the opposite direction. I thought a lot of the songs sound similar, but different lyrics geared towards different things which happened in their life, and the associated feelings which come with it. Hard to pin down another artist they sound like, but they are very acoustic and stringy overall. I would say their moderate at best.
