Bettie Serveert

Now for the introductory section which must accompany any discussion of Bettie Serveert.

See, Bettie Serveert is a band, not the name of the lady singing for the band (that's Carol Van Dijk).

They're from The Netherlands.

Bettie Serveert means "Betty Serves", which is the name of a popular Dutch tennis instructional book.

Now in their 15th year of having to explain their name, Bettie plugs away at the American rock scene with their 6 studio disc. It's full of friendly-enough jangle pop, with a bit of muscle thrown in for the ladies who are looking for strong role models.
