EMBER SWIFT

The Dirty Pulse

2006-10-31

The Dirty Pulse is Ember Swifts 9th album through her own label, Few’ll Ignite Sound. Ember calls this a celebration of life, the living, and the embedded hope in all of us. The band consists primarily of Swift the Ontario native and her native musical counterpart Lyndell Montgomery, but it also occasionally features a diversified host of musicians who lend their creativity and talents to produce a unique Canadian sound. The sound of “The Dirty Pulse,” can be best described as jazzy brand of funk with reggae undertones -Ben Buteyn
