WT has a paperless ticketing system, so most events will email you a ticket digitally after purchase. To be scanned in at box office, you can present your QR code off your phone or printed-out paper from home. We can also look up your tickets by your order name, with ID verification.
For events that are not using WT's ticketing system, will-call should likely work in the same way. Contact individual event organizer for further information.
Yes! We have a parking lot available behind (south of) Wealthy Theatre, accessible by Sigsbee St. Grand Rapids City metered parking is also available on Wealthy St. & west parking lot; both are free on evenings and weekends. Bike racks available out front. Wealthy Theatre is also accessible via The Rapid bus route. For overhead parking map, visit our Parking Page.

Wealthy Theatre does not currently have regular box office hours outside of event times. For most events, your best bet is to buy your tickets online, and your tickets will be emailed to you. If the event isn't sold-out, you should be able to buy tickets at the door before the show. For most events, doors open 30-60min before showtime.
Some events that occur at Wealthy Theatre may be handling their own ticketing outside of our system (LaughFest, Section Live Presents, etc...), in which case in-person sales might be available. For those, you may contact event organizer directly.

The main auditorium (Peter Wege Auditorium) at Welathy Theatre has a max capacity of 400 audience members. That number can vary depending on the show & use of the space. Seating is usually General Admission (fixed seating, first come first serve), unless noted otherwise in the event description.
The Koning MicroCinema space holds a max of 60 audience members, and is also General Admission (fixed seating).
Yes. There are no stairs to our building's main entrance. All our inside & exterior public areas are accessible via ramp. ADA/Handicap seating is available in all spaces. For the main auditorium - there is reserved open floor space to the left & right of sound board when you walk in. There is a similar area in the front, next to Row B by the stage. For both areas, we can add in free-standing seats for you or your guests as needed. Just ask WT staff/volunteers for assistance. Accessible restrooms are available as well. Yes. The Wealthy Theatre concessions stand is usually open during most events. For sale, we regularly serve: popcorn, candy, soda, coffee/tea, and filtered water. Beer/Wine/Spirits are also available for active WT/GRCMC members who are over the age of 21.
WT is a venue of the Grand Rapids Community Media Center, a Non-Profit Membership Organization. Your membership for GRCMC/WT enables you to enjoy full bar access, ticket discounts on select events, and access to media/production education & resources. All while helping support vital community platforms, voices, and our non-profit historic community venue: Wealthy Theatre. Wealthy Theatre has a Club Liquor License and can legally only serve alcohol to members of our organization, GRCMC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. You can sign up online or in-person with memberhsips starting at only $15 for a whole year: https://grcmc.vbotickets.com/memberships/8547
Certain special events may occur throughout the year where membership is not required, but most events will require this membership to purchase alcohol. Non-alcoholic concessions items are available to all.

The venue of Wealthy Theatre no longer has a requirement for face-masks or vaccines. But any guests who individually wish to choose such safety measures, are welcome to. Complimentary face-masks are available at the box office; if you are in need just ask a WT team member. Additional safety measures may be implemented by event producers or artists. To verify, check the speicifc event listing and ticket page.
For the safety of our community, we ask that if you are not feeling well, please do not come to Wealthy Theatre. If you have already purchased a ticket, WT will do their best to issue a refund just contact us at: info@wealthytheatre.org. If the ticketing for your event is being handled by an outside party, please contact them directly.
