The YWCA West Central Michigan is thrilled to announce its spring luncheon, Arise! Unbreakable, on April 30th.  

The YWCA  Arise Luncheon ignites change, sparks dialogue, and empowers attendees to take action for a stronger, more just community.

This year's luncheon will feature best-selling author Chanel Miller who will speak about her experience as a survivor of the Stanford University sexual assault case and failures of the criminal justice system

You're invited to join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan and Wealthy Theatre for an Earth Day screening of Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, on Tuesday, April 22nd.

The film is set far in the future after an apocalyptic conflict has devastated much of the world's ecosystem, and one of the few surviving humans, young Nausicaä works to bring peace back to the ravaged planet. 

In recognition of Earth Day, Wealthy Theatre is generously donating 10% of all ticket sales to support the Land Conservancy of West Michigan's mission to conserve ecologically critical land.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the end of U.S. involvement in Vietnam.

A new showcase exhibit, Casting Light: Photographs of the Vietnam War opens at the Ford Museum on April 21 and uses iconic photographs from American photojournalists to capture how presidents and the American public grappled with the reality of the conflict.
