Lowell Arts announces its 57th Annual Fallasburg Arts Festival, September 20-21, in Fallasburg Park.

The Fallasburg Arts Festival at scenic Fallasburg Park features 100 juried fine art and craft booths, kids' activities, craft demonstrations, live music, and a Community Art Quilt opportunity as part of Lowell Arts' public art initiative.

Festival Hours are 10 to 5 Saturday and 10 am-4 pm on Sunday.

NIA Centre is Grand Rapids' own African American cultural center...providing programming and events to promote an understanding of the past, a sharing of the present, and a cultivation of the future.


NIA Centre is proud to sponsor "NIA Sole" on Saturday, September 20, from 3 to 6 PM, at Pleasant Park, 400 Pleasant Street SE in Grand Rapids.

"NIA Sole" is a gathering to distribute 600 pairs of running and walking shoes to the community. presentations on physical fitness and healthy eating. Food and beverages will also be available, as well as live music.

Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum - "The Ford Presidential Museum Celebrates The Greatest Generation" (click for more info)
The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum announces the opening of a new, free pop-up exhibit, "The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Celebrates The Greatest Generation!," commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

This new exhibit uses photographs, text, and artifacts to highlight military service, life on the home front, and presidents who served, including President Ford's Naval service, including his role as editor of the USS Monterey's newsletter. 

The pop-up exhibit runs August 23 through September 7, 2025.
