World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the globe. It celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. 

This year's Block Party celebration will be held at 906 South Division and feature global music, cross-cultural food trucks, an interactive art station, kids' activities, and refugee storytellers.

The Japanese Animation, Film, and Art Expo -- "JAFAX" -- returns to DeVos Place Convention Center on June 27th through 29th for three days of activities, exhibitors, gaming, and entertainment with a focus on Japanese animation and pop culture. 


Headlining JAFAX 2025 are celebrities from the world of anime and animation.
There will also be an exhibit hall filled with vendor and artist booths, over 80 panels, a food drive to benefit Kids' Food Basket, and much more.
