Headband Henny is a local artist from Kalamazoo who recently played at the WYCE Jammie Awards. Their music combines R&B along with several other genres of music.

GRTV's Media Makers summer camp registration is now open!
Grand Rapids high schoolers can get hands-on experience creating a live studio TV show, short film, or podcast - and get paid to do it!
Campers will spend a week learning creative techniques and technical skills, workshopping with local professors, filmmakers, reporters, and radio personalities, all while getting experience with professional production equipment.
By the end of camp, they'll have a finished project for their portfolio and a free membership to the Community Media Center.
Applications are open now - spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Grand Rapids Public Library invites you to join them for a special celebration of poetry at The Power of Poetry Showcase on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Main Library Branch.
The event will be hosted by Grand Rapids Poet Laureate Christine Stephens-Krieger, and will feature performances by local poets who will share their original works.
In addition to the performance, attendees will leave with a recommended reading list and tips on how to enjoy the power of poetry.

Founded in 2021, BAM Talent, under the direction of Darius Colquitt, is a forward-thinking national non-profit organization, dedicated to celebrating, promoting, and advocating for Black and underrepresented artists.
Lowell Arts is proud to announce they've added additional concerts to their new concert series for 2025.
The series is organized by Lowell Arts in partnership with Sound Check, a music venue in downtown Lowell, Michigan.
There will be eight new shows now through May 17th.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, concerts start at 7:00 PM.
