The Franciscan Life Process Center is now offering music lessons in piano, guitar, drums, and brass instruments, as well as beginning voice. 

Enrollment is open for weekly half-hour lessons, which are held at the Center's campuses in Lowell and Grand Rapids. 

There are immediate openings for children 8 years old through high school and adults of all skill levels, and lesson times are flexible.

Blues Plate Special: Blind Connie Williams - A Street Performer Beginning In The Early 1930's, Williams Was Something Of A Journeyman Throughout His Busking Career Living In Philadelphia For Most Of His Life. Much Of His Repertoire Consisted Of Sanctified Gospel Songs And Pre-War Country Blues Standards. He Frequently Travelled to Harlem And Performed Alongside The Reverend Gary Davis. Recording For Pete Weldon Of Testament Records In 1961 Produced Twenty-Five Songs; None Of Those Recordings Were Released At That Time. Sixteen Of The Numbers Were Compiled On An Album In 1974; This Was The Extent Of The Recording Career On Blind Connie Williams.
