After a breakup/hiatus 17 years ago, Rilo Kiley is set to reunite at the Just Like Heaven Festival in Pasadena on May 10, and embark on a North American tour. No Michigan dates are on the calendar at this time. I think the closest they are currently getting is the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville in September.
Minneapolis siblings Austin and Taryn Durry released the track "Bubble Of My Gum" in 2023. About its unexpected popularity, Austin said, "We had no idea how important at it would become to so many folks. In the last year it was used in dozens of wedding’s and thousands of posts of folks celebrating their partners, their babies, their pets. (And one on stage proposal at our show, that was rad)"

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are a British band fronted by the siblings of the Durham family. Their music is influenced heavily by R&B, blues, soul, punk, rock and roll, and West Indian music.
Hailu Mergia (HY-loo mer-GEE-a) recorded this during a turbulent and violent period of the Ethiopian Civil War in 1978 with The Dahlak Band. Since there was a midnight-6 am curfew, the clubs would stay packed with dancers all night until dawn.
