Blues Plate Special: Began Performing During The 1920's For Traveling Carnivals And Medicine Shows, Performing A Repertoire Of Many Types Of Folk Music, Became A Mimic, Effortlessly Switching From Humorous Hillbilly Ballads To Deep Country Blues. With His Self-Taught Harmonica Technique, Floyd Was A One-Man Band, Playing Harmonica With His Nose And Thus Playing Two Harmonicas At Once, A Skill He Shared With Blues Harp Players Walter Horton And Gus Cannon's Partner Noah Lewis. His Rediscovery In The Early 1970's And In The Following Years Recorded Two Albums; Those Two Are Out Of Print And Sought After By Collectors. Frank Floyd Passed On In 1984
