Thee Heart Tones

Thee Heart Tones are a youthful band from Hawthorne, California, dedicated to advancing Chicano Soul. Led by vocalist Jazmine Alvarado, who is the eldest at 19, the group also includes Ricky Cerezo on keys and organ, Jorge Rodriguez on drums, Jeffrey Romero on bass, Peter Chagolla on lead guitar, and Walter Morales on rhythm guitar. Formed through a mutual love for music and a fortuitous collaboration, they quickly captured the attention of Big Crown Records, where they recorded their debut album. Forever & Ever presents a blend of new and classic sounds that pay homage to the Chicano Soul genre.

Acclaimed indie-pop band Lucius, the duo of Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, have once again collaborated with The War On Drugs’ guitarist and vocalist Adam Granduciel on their new single, “Old Tape.” Lucius had previously guested on the title track from the War On Drugs’ “I Don’t Live Here Anymore” album and now Adam has returned the favor. The song is the first preview of their forthcoming studio album, which is slated for release in 2025.
