Support for WYCE comes from Downtown Grand Rapids Inc presenting summer events at Las Canchas, the community futsal (FOOT-sal) courts on Seward Avenue.

On July 14th, Las Canchas will host a double-header watch party starting at 2pm featuring the Euro 2024 final at 3pm followed by the Copa America final.

There will be food trucks, pick-up games and other activities. The event is open to the public.

Before the watch party, the Las Canchas Farmers Market will take place from 9am to 2pm with over 15 local and regional vendors.

The Grand Rapids African American Art & Music Festival are hosting another Friday Night Park Party, on Friday July 12th from 6-8pm.


This Park Party will celebrate Christmas in July, and we feature a wide variety of activities, including free food, live music, merchandise vendors, family activities, community resources, and more.

The Park Party will be held at Garfield Park, located at 250 Burton St. SE in Grand Rapids.
