Lydia Loveless

a note about this track

Another Prince cover, this from Lydia Loveless. There is an interesting documentary from 2016 called "Who Is Lydia Loveless?", which follows the band on the road, and looks into the struggles a moderately successful band can have in the age of Spotify and declining sales.

Born and raised in Italy, acoustic guitarist Luca Stricagnoli caught my attention on social media a while back, where he played an insane version of Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" with a triple-necked beast of a guitar that he manages to get a melody, bassline, percussion and scratching all in one go. It's a sight to see, and I'm posting a link here for you to appreciate his virtuosity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDS3hAFQuS8 Here is another song from the same album, a great cover of the Muse hit "Supermassive Black Hole".
