Respecting the classics while sharing the odd and unexpected musical gift. If the music you love doesn't occasionally move you to tears, do you really love it? I play what I love and spin lots of new artists and albums. I'm currently grooving on the Crane Wives, Bartees Strange, Vijay Iyer, Terence Blanchard, Arlo Parks, and the Glass Animals. I would describe my setlists as a slow simmer, punctuated by the odd apoplectic shift. Lend me your ears.
You're invited to join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan and Wealthy Theatre for an Earth Day screening of Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, on Tuesday, April 22nd.
The film is set far in the future after an apocalyptic conflict has devastated much of the world's ecosystem, and one of the few surviving humans, young Nausicaä works to bring peace back to the ravaged planet.
In recognition of Earth Day, Wealthy Theatre is generously donating 10% of all ticket sales to support the Land Conservancy of West Michigan's mission to conserve ecologically critical land.

Music has a different feel when chosen by curious, knowledgeable hosts instead of an algorithm or computer.
Only real people can make connections that engage your mind and your heart. So it's important to remind you that music lovers choose every song you hear on WYCE. We are all volunteer hosts who are your friends, and your neighbors.
Your listener donations makes up the biggest share of revenue that keeps the music playing on WYCE.
That's why we hope you'll join us during our year-end fund drive next Monday through Wednesday.
Every donor has the chance to win one of our "12 Unique Gifts of Music" or... you can make your year-end contribution now at wyce dot org forward slash donate.
Thank you for your continuous support!
