Dobro master and 15-time GRAMMY Award-winning performer Jerry Douglas with special guest Bassist Daniel Kimbro will perform at St. Cecilia Music Center on November 16th.

Singer, Songwriter, Poet, Activist, and Multi-instrumentalist Allison Russell brings The Returner Tour to St. Cecilia on January 16th, 2024. 

As well as GRAMMY Award-winning Singer / Songwriter Marc Cohn returning to St. Cecilia Music Center on April 11th, 2024.

Blues Plate Special: Peetie Wheatstraw, 1936 - St.Louis Pianist And Singer Peetie Wheatstraw Had An Almost Arrogant Self-Confidence In His Singing Style, But His Clever Way With A Lyric Made Him One Of The Best-Selling Blues Artists Of The 1930's. Calling Himself The Devil's Son-In Law, Peetie Succeeded In Recording Over 160 Tracks In An Eleven Year Career. One Photo Exits Of Wheatstraw Holding A Guitar, But His Primary Instrument Was Piano Heard On The Records Of Lonnie Jordan, Kokomo Arnold And Papa Charlie McCoy. Peetie's Last Studio Session In 1941. Few Weeks Later He Was Riding In An Automobile That Collided With A Freight Train And He Died From His Injuries After A Few Days, On His 39th Birthday.
