'Snake Drive' was written and originally recorded by the late R.L. Burnside (1996). Jimbo Mathus was formerly a member of the 90's swing band Squirrel Nut Zippers and has since released 16 albums under his own name.
"Johnny Too Bad" comes from Steve Earle's 2002 "Sidetracks" release of what he calls "stray tracks" from his career that he felt were underexposed. The original was a hit for the Jamaican rocksteady group The Slickers in 1970, and appeared in the Jimmy Cliff film 'The Harder They Come' in 1972.
Benmont Tench was a founding member of, and played keyboards for, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.

This year's Jammies will feature 20 Michigan bands on 3 stages with award presentations for Best Album of 2022, Song of the Year, the Listener Choice Awards, and much more.
Doors for this all-ages event open at 5:30pm and music starts at 6. Entry is a suggested donation of $5, and we will also be collecting canned donations at the door for Feeding America West Michigan.

WGVU Public Media and D&W Fresh Market present The Great Wine and Food Symposium on Friday, March 3rd at the Grand Rapids Public Museum from 7:30 to 10pm.
Admission to this 21 and up event grants all-inclusive access to an expansive selection of wines, beers, and gourmet foods, plus live music by special performing guests, Djangophonique. All ticket sales directly support WGVU as they celebrate 50 years of public service through community media.
