Original version of "Wishing Well" was a hit for Terence Trent D'Arby in 1987. I guess I hadn't paid much attention to his career subsequent to that, because I was unaware that in 2001 he stopped performing under the name Terence Trent D'Arby in favor of Sananda Maitreya, which means something like "kind and benevolent" in Sanskrit.
