Blues Spotlight: The Mentor Of Delta Slide Virtuoso Robert Nighthawk, Houston Stackhouse Never Achieved The Same Commercial Or Artistic Success, He Played Key Roles In Delta Blues History As A Sideman, And Influence. Stackhouse Spent Decades As A Constant Presence In Mississippi And Arkansas Blues Circles, Being One Of The Earliest Bluesman Performing Live Radio Broadcasts In The Delta As A Member Of Sonny Boy The Second's King Biscuit Boys. Recording Later In His Life, Stackhouse Chose To Remain In Arkansas Playing The Juke-Joints And Radio Broadcasts Until His Passing In 1980.
