Barbecue Bob (1929) One Of The Unsung Heroes Of Piedmont Blues, Barbecue Bob Recorded Over Sixty-Eight 78 RPM Sides For Columbia Records Over A Three Year Period; The First Session In 1927. His Compositions Were Original And Witty, Often Written On a Twelve String In A Backroom Of A Kitchen Where He Worked As A Cook In A Barbecue Restaurant. In 1930, Buddy Moss And Curley Weaver Joined Up Bob And Recorded A Few Tunes As The Georgia Cotton Pickers.
