Blues Spotlight: Faye Adams Started Young As A Singer, Performing In Her Father's Gospel Choir At The Age Of Five. During The Late 1940's She Was A Must-See On The New York Club Circuit, Paving The Way To A Signing A Contract With Atlantic Records, And First Release In 1953. Over The Next Five Years, Adams Recorded Eighteen Sides, Half Of Which Were Two-Sided R&B Hits. Not Long After, MIss Adams Remarried And Returned To Her Gospel Roots; At The Age Of 96, Fanny Tuell Resides In Newark, NJ.
