Concerts Under The Stars - Fiona (click for more info)

Concerts Under the Stars at the Grand Rapids Public Museum's Chaffee Planetarium is a concert series that combines the wonder of the cosmos and the wonder of music. 

The 2019 Concerts Under the Stars series will kick off with Fiona Dickinson featuring dark folk music on Thursday, January 17 at 7:30PM. 

This sub-genre of folk music blends traditional Nordic folk music and ambient music and is considered to be closely related to metal. 

Live visuals will accompany on the planetarium dome by Meghan Moe Beit-iks. 

A limited number of tickets are available online at G R P M dot ORG.

South African Born and Colorado-raised singer/songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov 

bringing a blend of dusty folk and moody Americana to Fountain Street Church Saturday January 26th

Influenced by the rural blue-collar lyricism of artists like Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Joe Phelps, and Leonard Cohen 

Isakov draws from his own life working on a three acre farm selling vegetable seeds and market crops.

West Michigan's Biggest Night of Music returns! It's the 20th Annual WYCE Jammie Awards - Friday, February 8th at The Intersection!  

Jammies 20 features 35 Michigan bands on 4 stages with award presentations for Best Album of 2018, Best Album by a New Artist, Song of the Year, the Listener Choice Awards, and much more. 

For the first time in the station's history, one stage will be dedicated to an Open Mic where YOU can play at the Jammies.

All Ages are welcome, Doors open at 5:30pm, and - as always - Jammies is FREE with a $5 suggested donation at the door.
