One Of The Piedmont's Most Idiosyncratic, And Probably Qualifies As A Forgotten Bluesman Was Gabriel Brown. Folk Music Researchers Discovered Him In The 1930's, And Launched A Recording Career That Lasted Several Decades, Including Cutting Several Sides For The Library Of Congress. Record Producer Joe Davis Recorded Brown Extensively Until 1952; Many Of These Not Seeing the Light Of Day Until Recently. Gabriel Brown Passed On In 1972.
