Morning Music not Mourning Music... something to help get the engines started.
The 49th annual "Festival of the Arts" is June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in downtown Grand Rapids. The three-day event is free and features several stages of performances taking place all day, a juried arts exhibition, and dozens of food booths run by local non-profit organizations.
Festival features works from many West Michigan artisans and also offers creative activities for children and adults to enjoy with opportunities to make your own art!

Tomorrow night, The Pyramid Scheme presents La Luz, a Seattle-based quartet mixing up doo wop, surf music, girl group sounds, and indie rock into one smart package.
Rhode Island punk band Gym Shorts opens the show.
