Tonight! Harvey Mason brings his inimitable groove to Wealthy Theatre for an evening of original music combining funk, R&B, Latin, and traditional jazz flavors.
Harvey Mason is one of the most lauded and recorded drummers of all time, having appeared on hundreds of award-winning jazz, pop, and fusion albums throughout his long career. For decades he has been the drummer and percussionist of choice for musicians as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Seals & Crofts, Dionne Warwick and Sergio Mendes, as well as modern musicians such as Seal, John Legend, Beck, and Beyonce.
Harvey Mason performs with Michigan organ phenom Jim Alfredson and Detroit guitar virtuoso Lawrence Barris, both members of the famed trio organissimo, tonight at Wealthy Theatre. A meet and greet is scheduled after the performance.
