An artisanal, hand cranked, lovingly crafted assemblage of tunes both new and not, because life without music is like a broken pencil -- pointless.
Support for WYCE comes from The Pyramid Scheme, a pub and music venue in the Heartside neighborhood.
Tonight! Pyramid Scheme welcomes the legendary Jonathan Richman.
Jonathan Richman has been writing music, recording and touring for most of his life, gathering the loyalty of fans and fellow artists with his warmth, humor and insightful lyrics. In the early '70s he formed The Modern Lovers, signalling the rise of punk music. Tommy Larkins was in the groups Naked Prey, Giant Sand and other popular bands of Tucson, Arizona. Jonathan and Tommy continue to record, write music together and tour across the US.
Ages "18 plus" welcome.

WYCE's Spring Fund Drive is on its way - Friday, April 21st through 28th! - as we take a look back in celebration of 30 years of listener-powered music radio in West Michigan!
The unique music variety we've shared for three decades is made possible 100% by donations by our listener sponsors... We need you to keep doing your part!
We receive no funds from any university, religious organization, or from the government. So tune in April 21st through 28th to make your financial contribution!
It's not too early to donate online at WYCE dot org! Your early gift may be used as challenge funds - encouraging others to give during the drive - motivating those individuals to take the big step from listener -- to listener-sponsor!
